A 16-Year Tradition
Welcome to the Turkeyshoot Lacrosse Tournament. What began in November of 1992 as an eight team high school boys lacrosse tournament, has now grown into a two day, multiple age-group lacrosse festival.
We are very proud to present lacrosse players, coaches, parents and spectators with an exceptional event to look forward to every fall in beautiful Ithaca, New York. Registration opens Saturday, September 1st and will close Wednesday, October 24th.
Unlike a traditional 10 versus 10 lacrosse game, the Turkeyshoot features a 7 versus 7 format (2 each of attack, defense and midfield, plus a goalie) with a smaller field (40yds x 80yds, goals 60 yards apart) and an official sized goal (6ft x 6ft). This condensed version of the game has proved to be extremely exciting and popular with the players, as evidenced by the growth of the tournament.

The 2007 Turkeyshoot Lacrosse Tournament donated $6,475 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. A huge THANK YOU to all teams, whose participation in the tournament made this donation possible. Also, a special thanks to one private donor who gave $200, on behalf of the Turkeyshoot, to the American Diabetes Association. We'll run the same program in 2008 and continue to fund research for this disease. We're getting closer to a cure everyday. Thanks again.
